Piles of handknit cardigans: early weeks on the right, later months on the left...

(There are still a few in there you haven't seen yet ;))

Onesies in organic cotton and some more handknit accessories (mittens, booties, hats, legwarmers)...

A bit of decoration (Dr Seuss books lent by dear Rebecca)...
12-02-01chambre2

Zooming in on the gorgeous banner Sylvie embroidered and sewed for us, thoughtfully using the same fabrics and sheep theme I chose for the nursery...

(Love it!)

Little pajamas (all organic or at least Ökotex-certified), along with a tiny handknit dress...

And the beautiful snowsuit generously gifted by our friend Sonia, which will be perfect to come home from the clinic and for the chilly first weeks.

Some more handmade decor and knitted goodness may be yet to come, but really -
it's all ready, baby!

You have prepared so beautifully for your baby! I wish you all the best.
You might not know that in Australia, cot bumpers are not recommended (they are considered a SIDS risk -http://raisingchildren.net.au/articles/safe_sleeping.html. I often see them on American blogs and noticed that your cot has them too. This might be something you wish to investigate further.
Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

Thank you Thornberry. I have thought long hard on the subject of bumpers, so that is an informed choice. The bumper is tied all the way down to the bottom of the mattress so it can't go over the baby's head. Obviously if I realize the baby has any risk depending on her movements when she sleeps, I'll reconsider; for now, it seems better to me this way, as it provides warmth and a more contained (womb-like) environment.

So pretty! Your little one will know he or she is well-loved. :-)

Please share the pattern of the sleeping bag--those things are kind of hard to find in stores, and I think they make great gifts for new moms.

It makes me smile to see the pretty things you've knit and sewn, and everything else that is so well thought out to prepare for your baby. The sheep theme is great!

Il en faut des vêtements car un bébé qui régurgite peut "consommer" pas mal de pyjamas. C'est très très beau ! Vous êtes prêts ! plein de bonnes choses pour cette dernière ligne droite !
