Little pajamas (all organic or at least Ökotex-certified), along with a tiny handknit dress...
And the beautiful snowsuit generously gifted by our friend Sonia, which will be perfect to come home from the clinic and for the chilly first weeks.
Some more handmade decor and knitted goodness may be yet to come, but really -

You might not know that in Australia, cot bumpers are not recommended (they are considered a SIDS risk -http://raisingchildren.net.au/articles/safe_sleeping.html. I often see them on American blogs and noticed that your cot has them too. This might be something you wish to investigate further.

Thank you Thornberry. I have thought long hard on the subject of bumpers, so that is an informed choice. The bumper is tied all the way down to the bottom of the mattress so it can't go over the baby's head. Obviously if I realize the baby has any risk depending on her movements when she sleeps, I'll reconsider; for now, it seems better to me this way, as it provides warmth and a more contained (womb-like) environment.

Please share the pattern of the sleeping bag--those things are kind of hard to find in stores, and I think they make great gifts for new moms.
