I spent some quality time with my sewing room last week... Making myself at home in it. While I didn't feel like making clothes quite yet (although the wind is definitely turning, as adumbrated in yesterday's article), I felt in the mood for cute, fun stuff. I therefore decided to finally start and replenish my sorely neglected Etsy shop. This serves two purposes: on the one hand, I have vowed to significantly reduce my quilting fabrics; and on the other, my finances will be tighter this year. Not that I'm complaining, as this is a consequence of my being with Seb again - but I do have to fund my sewing obsession some way or other!
Here's a sample of what I've been making:Scented pillows
And roll-up cases.

Sweet! I love the roll up case :)
And how nice for you to find sewing friends so close! I look forward to hearing what fabric adventures you and Melissa will have.
You've been so busy Isabelle! Everything looks wonderful :)
I can't wait to see your coat, the style looks fabulous!
They all look lovely Isabelle, congratulations
Everything looks lovely. I'm glad you're settling in to your new sewing space, and I hope Miss Kitty is helping.
I've nominated you (both) for a Kreative Blogger award.
What beautiful items! Is there no end to you sewing talent!? Can't wait to see the coat you are working on. I am green with envy over the entire block of fabric shops so near to your house. My local fabric shop is closing in two weeks. I did find some incredible bargains....Vogue patterns for $5 each and DMC floss for 13 cents each. This is nearly 80% off the normal price for these items. Also many good prices on fabrics. All the dollies will be getting new dresses soon.
Lovely merchandise.
I love everything...especially those sleeping masks. I love for it to be dark when I sleep.
Those hearts are so cute!
Dear Isabelle,
Glad to know that you are settling down into your new home and you have already started sewing. Your little items for etsy are adorable.
Did you get my email?

I've just been catching up with you! Congratulations on your move to London, and how wonderful that you have found a little time for sewing. Can't wait to see your progress on that gorgeous coat!
Isabelle, how are you? I love your new crafts. In fact, I have nominated you for the Kreativ Blogger Award. I enjoy your blog and your work!
