Random pictures from Holland

Hi everyone,

Here are a few pics from last week. I got a lot of work done (finished my seventh chapter!), but we did manage to cover 80 kms on our bikes over the weekend, which was just what I needed. The weather was wonderful. We got back in Paris on Monday night.

Miss Cutie slept blissfully through the 5-hour train trip, both times. She is such a doll. She felt immediately at home in Seb's tiny flat.

I didn't take my new trenchcoat with me after all, as I had a lot to carry (laptop, many books, and a kitty) and I didn't want it to get damaged. So, no pictures yet... Sorry friends!

Talk to you soon! Hope the sun is shining wherever you have. We seem to have gone from a very timid spring to summer here, in just a few days' time. I didn't need to wear a coat today, which isn't even funny! (I did wear my new coat for the first time yesterday, and felt like a princess on the rue de Rivoli leading to my workplace). Pictures soon, I promise. :)

Lovely pictures, especially of the two of you typing!
Have you celebrated Queens day, or did you flee the crowd and biked? We plan to bike a lot this weekend.

I read you celebrated another birthday??? I'm sorry I missed it, so congratulations and all the best for the coming year.

Great photos; thanks for sharing your week with us. I'm glad that you were able to get some good work done, as well as enjoy yourself outdoors. I sounds like you had a wonderful time and Miss Cutie behaved herself quite nicely (no surprise there).

BTW, I'm fascinated by your laptop. I've never seen one with a curved keyboard before. I'm jealous, as I have a curved keyboard for my laptop to plug into at work, but would love to have one directly on it!

Lovely pictures Isabelle. Miss Cutie seems to be saying well it is my right to be here. I don't care even if you are typing.
