Morning Berries

Hi everyone!
I mentioned my new stitching project yesterday, but didn't show a picture, and I realized this might have been a little frustrating for you...
So here's my progress on LHN's Morning Berries.

Stitched on 28-ct Calico evenweave
with DMC linen threads (don't have Crescent Colors)

It doesn't look like much, and I thought the tree would be finished by now... The truth is, I stitched all the leaves in the train back to Paris yesterday afternoon, only to realize last evening that the whole right part was off by a couple of stitches... Ack! That's what chatting non-stop with a friendly seat neighbour does to you! ;)
I unpicked all the leaves on the right part and re-stitched them last night, along with the trunk. Barring a new mishap, the other berries and bunnies should stitch up rather quickly. I love that design, it was a perfect start on an Easter day!
I'm not sure I'll stitch the "berries" next to each bunny. They look like blue carrots to me, which is weird! Has anyone stitched those and wondered?

Hope everyone is having a lovely day - I need to work extra hard today to make up for taking yesterday off, but it was totally worth it as it meant more time with Robin - having one's hair, nose, glasses and necklace pulled by a beaming little guy of a nephew is priceless, isn't it!

Oh, and look what my sweet Seb brought me form the bakery on Saturday!

I haven't managed to bite into it yet... It is way too pretty!

Sounds like you had an amazing Easter weekend. Well deserved!! What an adorable chocolate kitty - you're right it's much too pretty to eat.
Robin is growing so quickly. You must be amazed each time you see him. Sweet pictures of the two of you.

Lovely new project - and great to see you stitching again. Seb did an amazing job with picking out that very special treat for you - can you even stand to eat him? He is too cute!

Oh I like this design a lot. After starting coffee menu I've realized I really like a lot of LHN's designs. I think I'm going to keep them in my rotation once I complete coffee menu. The little guy is too cute and Seb seems too sweet!

Your stitching is so pretty, and yes, I'd have ripped it and redone it to. The only time I didn't was when I did a piece on 32ct. linen - part of it was an intricate rooster made up of 6 shades of golds and bronzes, plus metallic threads. I got done with the rooster and *then* read the directions that I was to stitch over *2* strands!!! Needless to say the rest of the piece was stitched at 32ct and is half the size it should be!

Robin is cute - he's grown since we saw him a few months ago.

Le chat! How incredibly adorable! I don't know if I could eat him, either!

The kitten is too cute to eat but before she gets kind of grey, I would give her a quick end ;)

o.k. now that I'Äm back to knitting I really don't have to go back to embroidery too....oooohhhmmm, I can resist :)

Morning Berries isn't one I know, so I'll be interested to see how it comes along, Isabelle. Love the chocolate kitty, too!!

Morning Berries is off to a nice start, and being able to spend the extra time with Robin would certainly be worth it (they do seem to like glasses and noses don't they, LOL).

As to the cute chocolate kitty, I'd have a hard time biting into it as well.

I love this LHN design, Isabelle, and you're doing a fabulous job. Well, apart from the frogging, of course. I think you're very brave to tackle the frogging and just continue as if nothing happened. If it were me, I would have chucked the whole lot in the bin.
Robin has grown so much. That's a lovely picture of you two!

Goodness - I can't believe how big Robin has grown already. What a happy little boy he looks, obviously nurtured with so much love.

I think this part of the LHN design is such a great choice for your bourse, it is going to be beautiful. I hate it when the stitches end up being out but it happens to us all......at least I think it does, all part of stitching and realising the noooo, we cannot count right sometimes ;-))
Have you eaten your Easter kitty yet? it is so cute I wouldn't want to bite it either ;-)
