Some of you might be interested in this French SAL: a designer is offering a free house design each month (each one themed according to the month), and is setting up a stitch along for the year. The first chart is out, and is just adorable. I'm definitely joining in the fun and am only waiting for my fabric to start! (I chose a dove grey juliana and shall be using DMC linen threads for a soft, muted effect.)
Where oh where, are you asking?

Wow, what fun!!! Thanks so much for providing the link, too. :)
Cool! I'm going to pull the threads and fabric tonight. Looks like a fun project for the year.
That house is darling; I really don't need another project, but I may not be able to resist! Are you going to do the 12 houses on one piece of fabric?
Isabelle, it is always such a pleasure to stop by your blog. Your positive attitude, kindness and beautiful heart always shine through your written words! :)
Thanks for sharing the link on the house SAL. It looks like fun.
Thanks for the link - I might have to join too.
Thank you Isabelle - looks fantastic!
Thank you so much for the link, what a fantastic site!
Robin's smile can only make you smile back! He's delicious!
Thanks for the link!
Lots of hugs, Isabelle!
Thank you SO much for the link! I love houses and seasons and this is so cute. Fantastic :)
I don't understand a word of French, however one nice thing about Cross Stitch is unless it has some fancy stitches, it is pretty universal. Given you can see the charted pattern, color key, and DMC numbers you're pretty much all set. January's House looks very cute. I'll enjoy watching your progress. Thanks for the link.

Me again, I was looking further at her site and saw the It's Winter Time one, that is so cute. Although I don't know if I'll do the SAL, I'll certainly be doing this one, it's adorable.

Thanks for the tip, Isabelle! I found another GREAT freebie mystery blog that I'm stitching, so I won't be joining you in this SAL, but I'm curious to see yours grow! (http://mausimomsfreebies.blogspot.com is the address, in case you're interested).
Wish I had talent there. I'll be watching your progress. What does "les grilles" mean, of "Les grilles de Maryse"? I assume Maryse is the gal of said blog. :)
Oops, I should have said that, Zo! "grilles" means "charts", so that means "Maryse's charts". You're right, Maryse is the gal of the blog :) Maybe your Sarah will want to join? I still owe you an email but... you know the story. Thinking of you, though! Hugs to you!
wow! the question is: do I really need another project?
Wonder how long I'm going to resist...
this cottage 's so cute...
but I'm not sure I'd stitch them all on ONE fabric.
That looks lovely, but I dont understand a word of it :o)
Looking forward to seeing your progress though.
Hi Isabelle...saw your comment on another blog and thought I would visit. You do very nice stitching. I think I'll stop back again. Come over and visit me at www.folk-n-fancy.blogspot.com
