Hello, and happy Sunday to you all!
As promised, here are pictures of the two latest exchanges I received and sent.
First, here is the needleroll Mylene sent me from the Netherlands in the needleroll exchange organized on The Robin's Nest board:
First, here is the needleroll Mylene sent me from the Netherlands in the needleroll exchange organized on The Robin's Nest board:

Isn't it fresh and lovely, with its cheerful colours and its flower-shaped button?
Mylene hemmed it with hardanger - so fine and pretty.
She included cute buttons and floss
Thank you Mylene!
And here is my second friendship exchange for Aniza, to replace the first one which got lost somewhere between Paris and Malaysia... At least that one reached her!

Yep, another needleroll... and the design is the same as the one I stitched for Cari in the needleroll exchange... although I chose more "antique" colours. I wanted to stitch something French, and that Au Fil des Rêves design appealed to me. I used a heart charm as the theme for this exchange was friendship. The card was stitched as well.
I wish you all a lovely Sunday and new week...
It's been a special day here!
And now back to those two households (both alike in dignity)...
Everyone take care!

Hi Isabelle! I hope you are enjoying a peaceful Sunday. These are great exchanges - and that stitched chicken card just cracks me up. :)
What pretty needlerolls!! I look at everyone's collections of needlerolls and they are so beautiful - but I don't even own one... I feel like Charlie Brown.
Lovely needlerolls Isabelle - both received & sent.
Ah yes, tomorrow you're off to fair Verona. Wish you and your fellow travellers a great trip.
Hugs, Margaret
Lovely needlerolls, hope you are having a nice Sunday the sun is shining here and Europe won the Ryder Cup - yippeee
Both needlerolls are gorgeous Isabelle! Good luck for your teaching next week :)
You girls do some beautiful work.
They are lovely.
Happy Sunday to you too. Well actually it should be Bon Nuit as it is 10 O'clock here and 11 O'clock in Paris.
Hope you have a lovely week too.
hugs
Shashi
Beautiful needlerolls - both sent and received! :)
Have you ever seen the Franco Zefferelli film of Romeo & Juliet? It was made in the 1960s I think but I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it :) I watched it again a few days ago.
I like hardanger edging that Mylene used. I also like the lace that you used on yours. They are both really nice (of course, I'm partial to purple). I'm glad that you had such a special day. Have a wonderful week!
Pretty as can be. Cheerful flower button, yes! Thanks for the email. I'll answer soon. I am hosting Operation Gummi Worms this Wedsnesday at my house, so may not be able to get to it before then.
Wow, more gorgeous needlerolls - both sent and received ... I just love them both! And the wee chicken card is just too gorgeous :) Like you, I think the French designers have some amazing charts :) I also wanted to say what a wonderful thing you're doing making the childrens clothes for Lebanon - they're just adorable ... you've got a huge heart, sweet Isabelle :D
Both are such pretty needlerolls. :)
Lovely needlerolls. I've never been a big fan of them, but someone had a picture of a bunch of them in a basket and I thought it looked so nice. So I may stitch some up in the future.
Your needlerolls are gorgeous Isabelle, congratulations
Lovely NR exchanges, Isabelle :)
The needle rolls are beautiful Isabelle. Enjoy your week.
Take care. x
The needle rolls are lovely! The second one you made to go to Malaysia is lovely. Let's hope someone else got the lost packet and greatly appreciates it. :D
Hope your week is off to a great start!
I love the look of needlerolls hemmed in hardanger!! They're both just wonderful. :D
Nice exchanges. I really like the hardanger trim and I also love the lace trim on the one you sent. Glad you had a great day! I did as well. :)
Two stunning needlerollw...you both did wonderful jobs as usual:)
I'm not understanding your entry completely this time: two households? and a very special day? I'm curious enough, but I didn't get this.
I didn't write my English part because of the hurry yesterday. I had a meeting and my daughter allowed my 10 minutes to write my entry... I'll put the English part in now!
great needlerol, but what a pity the first one is lost in the mail. and the netherlands are beautiful too, aren't we? ;-)
bye
Just a quick hello before bedtime...=). Your needlework is wonderful as always, and the sewing for the babies at the orphanage is sweet...what a worthy cause! So you read Anne of Green Gables and loved it. I'm so glad! Now what about Girl of the Limberlost by Gene Stratton-Porter, and have you ever read 'The Yearling' by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings? Just kidding for now! I am giving the string orchestra another 2 weeks trial. The conductor is super nice and very encouraging. some of the music is easy and some more difficult. Thanks for your encouragment...that was sweet of you. Tonight went well, I only got lost a few times...smile. Hope you have a wonderful day too! I'm having so much fun spinning my wool...you'd like spinning too I think...=)
Great needlerolls both of them, I am so glad for you the one made it safely to its destination :-)
I am curious as to why your having a special day and the two households. Whatever it means glad it is special for you :-)
Have a lovely week!
Beautiful needlerolls! This exchange has really given me a needleroll must-have and I bought a new pattern for another one on the weekend. I only have one so far and its looking far too lonely!
