A double anniversary this month

Two years ago, I used a sewing machine for the first time in my life... I never looked back.
Two years ago, I also started this blog... I never looked back either!

Within the same month I developed a passion and discovered a wonderful community, both of which have enabled me to build a more balanced lifestyle.

I want to thank you all for your continued friendship, for your support in hard times, for your comments and emails that have felt like so many smiles and hugs over the months. I have formed precious friendships and met wonderful people who have made me want to grow a better person. True, I also lost a friend or two without knowing why, and it hurt. Despite that, my life has changed for the better and I am so grateful for the friends I have come to make online. I hope you're all ready for this adventure to go on

Those flowers from the Alps are for you...

Thank you for being here!

Isabelle,

I have never introduced myself to you. I just joined Becky's U.S. exchange group, I really enjoy your blog. Your zest for life and your friendly spirit come through in all of your posts.

The flowers are really beautiful. Stop by my blog if you have the chance.

What a sweet post, as always. Happy anniversaries! I will forever feel two anniversaries on and around August 29th. The day Katrina hit in 2005 and the day (within a month after) that you and I became online friends. It's wonderful to have a sister in Christ in Paris. I'm taking those flowers to celebrate our almost-anniversary, okay? C'est va?

Congratulations on your anniversary & thank you for your flowers and the sharing of your joys and sorrows.

I have enjoyed meeting you these past months. Often you remind me of one of my childhood favorites L.M. Montgomery's 'Anne'. Your love of life and eye for the beauty in people and nature as well as your description of the feeling certain words in the English language give you are very much like Anne

What pretty flowers!!

It is no surprise to me that 21 people have already commented here - we all love you Isabelle and you make the blogging world so much better just by being here!!

Yes, I am a little bit tall, 5'9" - but then again, Barb, Patti and Sara are all rather "not tall" - LOL!!!

Bonjour Isabelle!

Lovely photos. It's been a few years since I've been to La Belle France, so it was nice to see more of your country.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work over the coming months. I'm also back from my travels and ready to post updates!

Hey Isabelle, I was only thinking about you today - I have really missed you!! Great to see you back blogging and thanks for sharing your holiday snaps with us. Did you see the ones of me in Wales? Whow, my feet and legs ached for days after our hike but it was beautiful. Will look forward to "showing off" my Welsh sampler (can it finally be finished after nearly a year ??!!) when I get it back framed. {{{Hugs galore}}} Ali xx
