Just received... my Friendship Exchange from Aniza, in Malaysia.
Aniza included lots of lovely little sewing trims and four skeins from Olde Willow Stitchery (I didn't have any!). But above all, Aniza stitched a lovely scissors case. Funnily enough, I saw a tutorial for this just a few days ago and was thinking how I'd like to make one. Aniza's skills are remarkable.
I just checked on the Internet and Sahabat means "friend" in Malay.

Sent this morning... The result of a small personal challenge. I'd set myself to make this pochette in a week, stitching on it every evening: I wanted to send it out before our departure on Saturday.
Challenge met! The pochette left this morning...
It is stitched with DMC 115 - I used up my whole skein.
This should me my last post for a while... We're leaving on a two-week holiday in Camargue and Vercors (we both love hiking). Then we'll both be back to work, but might still be offline for the rest of the month (as explained in the previous post).
Besides my swimming suit and hiking boots, I'm taking along this book and this magazine (along with the appropriate fibers and a piece of linen). I may add a Dickens, and a little cross-stitch project.
