My orchard is planted...

... Just in time for Summer.

Shepherd's Bush - The Orchard
Stitched with DMC and Anchor threads on crème 32-count Lugana.

I'm not sure yet how I'll finish this piece... Probably as a wallhanging - but I don't have the proper fabric yet. It'll go into the finishing pile for now, until inspiration - and the right fabric - comes along.

Thank you for your kind wishes... They mean and help a lot.

Take care of yourself, Isabelle. Try to get some rest -which mustn't be easy at this time of year...

Your orchard is beauteous! And, now you are done and it will bloom for years and years. I finished my flounced skirt today...Isabelle, thank you so very much for sharing this pattern/tutorial with me. I have posted a picture of it just now and want you to see it. It turned out beautifully and was very easy to sew. I am planning to make several more. Its perfect for playing my cello...and that is a need I have had ever since I started taking lessons 3 years ago! Every day I am wearing the same 3 things just so the cello will fit in the skirt of them. How refreshing to have this new skirt thats pretty and practical. I will make the next one a little longer, I didn't have enough fabric but still it is fine this length. Think of me...wearing this new skirt at my next cello lesson! Thank you again =) ~~Hope things are getting back to normal for you...*hugs* Psalms 25:1
