The Virades de l'Espoir ("races for hope") will be held all over France next September, to draw funds for children with Mucoviscidosis. Among various activities (besides the charity races), hand-crafted items shall be sold at a charity bazaar in Southern France. All the money from that sale shall be devoted to research.
Early in May, I pledged to make one item a week for this sale until the end of June. I do hope to make some more after that deadline, but I'm not sure how many I'll be able to make.
Here are those for the first four weeks:
1 lace doily and 2 Sunbonnet wallhangings

1 purse
I don't have the heart for a longer post...
Dearest Ali, I love you and carry you and your husband in my thoughts and prayers.

Isabelle, your first four weeks' of work are beautiful. You're an inspiration!
Is everything with you going okay?
My kindest thoughts are with you on these sad moments.
your work is beautiful as always. Dénia showed me the "cranberries" stiching. Wonderful!!
Take care.
They are all very pretty. I'm sure the charity will be very pleased to receive them for their bazaar.
Your charity work is wonderful! How kind you are to do so many nice things for so many people!
I love the Orchard sampler, very beautiful. And your purses are lovely as always. The fabrics are especially wonderful.
Hope you have a great week and weekend!
Your pieces are lovely as always Isabelle. Lots of hugs to you. xx
Love the Sunbonnet Sue one best! I know you like that American motif. Very lovely in light blue and white. It's so "you" in those colors! I hope you're okay, friend. Do write and let me know how I can pray for you.
You are so kind and ambitious to make up so many lovely things for the CF (as it's known in the States) charity, especially when you've been so busy with school. Please take care of yourself too!!
These are wonderful achievements, Isabelle. You have the biggest heart!
Thank you for inspiration, and sensitive words. I also feel for Ali.
