Dear Isabelle, Sending you lots of heartfelt wishs for a wonderful Christmas. Its wonderful to step back from all the busyness and just rest. Just the act of ceasing to be busy is restful to me. It brings to mind how God rested the seventh day from all the creating of the world he did and wants us to have regular days of rest and reflection also. Yesterday I thought of this and applying it to myself...thought...yes, too often we feed on the husks of the world when we need to feed on the living Word and find rest...like small transforming vacations from everything that drives us...good or not. The older I get the more I realize my need to grow in spirital truths..to practise and love what God wants and that therein is perfect peace. If you would care to send me your snail mail address I would like to send you a Christmas card...perhaps with a picture in it = ). Or should I say New Year's card? Merry Christmas to you and yours dear Isabelle!
