My Christmas Ornament exchange piece is now completely finished and ready to send. As you know, I can't share a picture... I tried a new finishing technique which turned out OK, but the process was not my cup of tea! I think I'll go back to good ol' sewing in the future.

I have been sewing gifts for friends lately, hence the lack of update... Hopefully I can get a first "batch" ready this weekend. It is for a friend in France, so hopefully it won't be long before it reaches her and I can tell you about it!

I hope you don't mind my mentioning it... But my friend Zoanna, the lady who launched the Katrina Kits project, still needs sponsors who would donate money so she can buy toiletries to fill the remaining bags. You will find details here and here, and may contact her by leaving a comment with your email address on her blog. Thank you ever so much!

Everyone have a lovely weekend!

I can't wait to see your Christmas Exchange ornament! It's so exciting to have these little secrets, but frustrating that we can't share yet. :)

Have a wonderful weekend, Isabelle!

I can't wait to see pics of everything you've been working on! I'm very curious about this new finishing technique.

Yea, I can't wait to see it too.

Thanks for leaving comments on my site. It's always a pleasure to hear from you.

I will try to post my progress sometimes this weekend.

You have a good weekend too. :)

Good evening Isabelle, the day has gone by so quickly. I am completely caught up on the laundry and got some things done around the house too. It still brings a smile to my face to think of how quickly you found my cross-st. sampler. I haven't posted yet today and don't know if I can. I want to get my last collage made. Thankyou for giving me the links to the kitty pattern and to Brittercup designs. I enjoyed looking at all thier designs. And...to think that we possibly were reading Job 38 at the same time is just incredible and very sweet. 'Oh how sweet to trust in Jesus, just to trust His cleansing blood; Just in simple faith to plunge me 'neath the healing, cleansing flood!' I've been blessed by Job. My heart has been touched..I'm loathe to move on. Wishing you a lovely weekend! I'd better get going here and start the collage. It's theme is vintage fun and I know just what I want to do! Can't tell you more in case Gina L. reads this. I only have about 40 minutes untill the meatloaf is out of the oven. Happy stitching to you!

I just peeked at your finished gallery and that little bear that you made is adorable! I would give him a squeeze if I could.
