Once again, my mailbox was overflowing with kindness yesterday...

Just look at all those goodies... Cute little sewable/gluable inspirational words that should be a really nice addition to my mini-quilts; a skein of Week Dye Works overdyed thread in "Noel" (those threads are hard to come by in France and that color is gorgeous!); two cute charts, one of which Greg, Kim's DH, stitched, and I loved watching his progress on it! I love the saying on the other design as well... Something it is good to be reminded of daily (at least for me
) ! Kim stitched it earlier this month. Last but not least, a cross-stitch bread cover - it is so soft and I just love the way the edges are finished! And I might well use it as a bread cover indeed! That would be so nice!
And did you see that? Even the package is like a gift wrap! How nice!
Thanks again Kim, this is way too much... But I must confess it came at a moment when I really needed a cheer-me-up! So thank you... For the sentiment, and for the lovely message yesterday as well...
Zohrah in Singapore finally received her Birthday gifts... a couple of days late.

I made a similar purse for Shashi a couple of months ago. As Zohrah enjoys reading, I also made her a bookmark. What I like with bookmarks is that you can be very versatile and create one adapted to every person, for every occasion...
To conclude with a smile... I first saw this on dear Jenna's blog and had to give it a go!

Kim sent me my first Xmas presents of the year! It really does feel like the Holiday season is starting now!

I added a scarf is because it is getting so cold here! Besides, a dear French friend knitted a white scarf for me that is really, really precious, and I wear it every day! Although I really feel that my Internet friends are spoiling me way too much...
Next time I'll show you the little "gifties" I made for Seb!
And I saw this on Trish's blog... Apparently my eyes are the right color!

(ps: I had to resort to Photobucket to post my pictures: Blogger images don't seem to be working and what's worse, I haven't been able to see my Blogger friends' pictures either since yesterday! I really miss seeing your pictures! Am I the only one?)

What a gorgeous Xmas gift you received :)) And I love your South Park character - isn't it fun creating it? :)
Great gifts!
I also had to resort to photobucket last night for the pics in my blog. Blogger pics are so finicky, and take so long to load!
Oh my, what beautiful gifts you made for Zohrah. Did you do that by hand? They are lovely! And what great gifts you got in the mail!
Dear Isabelle,
Wow lovely gifts. Mmmm lucky girl Christmas has indeed come early for you but then you deserve it.
According to the test my eyes should be voilet LOL!
hi Isabelle, my envelop was lovely too, but daughter 3 had taken it before I got a second look...
Kim sent you gorgeous gifts. I got the same threads and was as glad as you are. We can't buy that here too, if I want some, I have to buy it online.
Enjoy the kindness of others, you have deserved it!
The purse should have been for me. My best friennd in high school always called me ZB. Those weren't even my initials, but I thought it was cute. Besides, it's so hard to find the initial Z on anything!
Dear Isabelle,
The appears to be a glitch somewhere as my message also has not reached you looks like. I too can't upload pictures today. Loved all the cool links on your website and oh what lovely gifts! Christmas is coming early for you my dear friend!
Lovely gifts, both the ones you received and the ones you made for Zohrah! Congratulations Isabelle :)
I love your SouthPark Character. Really you. :) Kim have been so nice in showering you with lovely gifts.
You're gifts for Zorah were beautiful, how lucky she is! Have a great stitching week!
Your bookmark and purse are lovely!....I too have had to go to photobucket to post pictures Saturday. Today Hello is working and I am thankful. I've spent my day mostly outdoors, planting tulip bulbs and other things. Its exciting to plant them and wondor if they will grow in the spring to be as glorious and grand as pictured on the packaging....Hoping you've had a wonderful day!
Hugs to you Isabelle as I read in San's blog comments that you too are feeling quite low at the moment..Ann.
Isabelle, that was sweet of you to come over and wish me Happy Thanksgiving...I can't imagine how busy you are, really. I have a very slow-paced life, which suits me quite well. *smile* Praying for you, that the Lord will bless you!
Lovely gifts :-) And love what you sent to Zohrah!
