Those differ from Maggie Ann's and the online pattern though. I didn't have bias tape at hand so I thought I'd take avantage of my sewing machine which does a wonderful satin stitch. And I added embroidery... of course!
(my dish soap isn't of the right size so I used a body lotion bottle instead.)

Seb thinks they're cute and doesn't want me to give them away to friends!
The apron is closed with a ribbon threaded trough buttonholes. Now I don't have many different ribbons at home (should really buy more colours!) so I chose the colours according to what ribbon I had.
I then decided to make a smaller, simpler one, for the hand soap bottle. I barely embroidered on it since the fabric is a print:

Those are so cute! Wow!
They are lovely. They would make great gifts. Now being a dollmaker I see a doll in everything and I can see one in this. Just add a cover for the nozzle in the shape of head and you have a doll/apron for the soap bottle!
They look wonderful. My Grandmother always had little "coverlets" for her lotions and such. With all your sewing talents, you should start a little side business. I would be your first customer.:)
Well, how cute is that!!!! And it looks so simple! I love the gingam one. Thank you for adding that pattern link - just one more thing to add to my to-list! :D
Seb is right, they are too cute to give away. Love them. I'll have to follow the link for the pattern & put it on my 'list'. If I ever create a list .... it will be titled 'twisted list' because nothing I want to accomplish can be a category ; )
Isabelle, thanks so much for posting the link to the pattern! Yours are just darling!! I have printed off the directions and am already thinking about which bit of material I will use to make one or two up!
Those look beautiful!! Can't believe you've done them so fast!!
Oh, I shouldn't have looked!!! WOW, I love the BEES/hive WOW! Those are just lovely, Isabelle :) Congratulations to you :)

Oh Isabelle, your bottle covers are just beautiful...they leave mine in the dust. You are immensely talented and creative!! Oh yes, I would be on your customer list if you decide to sell these. My daughter and I love the belt idea. And the beehive and bees are so cheerful. They make us smile. I'll bet your hubby is so proud of you!
Hello I LOVE your site. It is very inspiring. I would like to ask you where do you get your ideas from? and what kind of sewing machine do you use?
Thank you.
