I did manage to sew a hat for each of us yesterday!
Sorry the photo is blurry, we don't have time to take a better one! No time to take a pic of Seb's hat either.
Pics of that (with another dress, and gifts I made for a dear friend I met last Monday, and Carol's birthday gifts) will be posted in a fortnight or so. And I'll probably share pics of Ireland too...
I'm taking along the Lavender Fairy DMC kit - have no idea whether I'll be able to stitch much, but just in case... Carol, I think you have it in your stash now, haven't you? Pity we can't stitch it along... but I really needed a kit to travel easily. We'll be hiking and carrying our tent and things on our backs, so we need to travel as light as possible.

I don't think you read this on time, but have a great time in Ireland! Hope you 'see' you in a few weeks.
Have a wonderful trip! I am sure your memere will take fantastic care of Violette and she will be absolutely spoilt when you and Seb come to get her back :-) No worries about Lavender Fairy - I have no idea when I will get to her, and I bet she will be a fantastic travel project! As for a SAL, we will do Cats Eyes together at some point, and we are both stitching Petal Fairy at the same time too :-) Be safe!!

I hope you are having a lovely time in Ireland. I don't know when you are coming back but I will be away when you get back. I am going to US for about 5 days for a doll conference.
