San, you're so right! But I've still not found the right colour code for lilac... All I was coming up with was too dark. I'll look further into that.
Edited to add: I just changed the cream to the palest lilac I could find... I'm still afraid it's a little too dark. What's your opinion?
Zohrah, what do you mean by the headers not being centralized? They do appear as centered on my screen, so I'd be curious to know how they appear on others...
I'm glad you like the cotton reels, as I was really happy with them myself! You can find a lot of reels here and there in my flat, so I thought that was quite representative.

I like the colours nad the layout Isabelle. The headings are centred fine on my screen.
Viewing on my laptop at 1064 x 768 screen resolution the headers are aligned to the left on my screen too.
I like the colour choices and the new graphics.

But I have to say the current colour makes a lot more sense in the layout :)
I see the top banner on the left too, you must have a smaller screen or smaller resolution than us. The tag "center" should do the trick if you want to center it. But I have to say it looked fine on the left to me.
I guess we changed our blogs because it's summer and we wanted a bit of change. Also, I think we all started blogging about the same time, one year or more ago, and we get fed up with the layout now ;)

I guess like Vash said my screen resolution is set on 1064 x 768. The font looks big on my screen but since everyone is requesting bigger font, I can always scale it down on my browser, no probs.
