Well, I'm no exception to the current blog-revamping mood... As you can see, I just created a new template. I'd been itching to do so for a while now.
I may change or add a few details still.
How do you like it? I can even revert to the previous template if you think that one's terrible!
Which font-size do you prefer? This one, or the one in the previous posts? Being short-sighted I rather like the bigger font myself, but most other blogs are written in smaller fonts...

I like the colors. Personally I prefer slightly larger text - on my screen (at 1024x768) it looks to be about 9 pitch - but text size can usually be adjusted with the scroll wheel on the mouse. The prior size of text was actually a bit large for my own preferences.
Oh, and your header stuff is being overlapped by your sidebars. There's probably an entry somewhere to set the top margin that should be increased to adjust (changing the width of my screen does move the sidebars but not enough to eliminate the overlay issue).

Hi Isabelle, it looks great! I have no problems with the size or overlap. This layout is friendly and funny (the little flosswinders in between). Love it.

no overlapping for me, and I prefer bigger text too (you might have noticed I don't really use small fonts myself ;)
But you like lilac so much, why not try to change the yellow background to pale purple?

One thing though, is that I am now working on a laptop, and don't know how many others have screens like me. So the text is very light on mine, and I need to strain to read it. But I do, as it is worth reading. :)
I have to admit as a publisher on paper, I love black, serif typefaces on a white background, as they are the easiest for the human eye to read. So maybe I am prejudiced. :(
