Here is my my fist update on the Petal Fairy, after a little less than a week's stitching... I was planning to stitch a bit more before taking a picture, but I need to work on my defence next Monday (I'm so sick with stress I could cry), and San just posted a comment, whining for a pic 
... So there she is:

I'm not sure whether you can see well the green of the fabric?
I don't know exactly how much I've stitched on her. I keep loosing count of my stitching time! I've stitched more than 10 hours, that's for sure, but I don't know whether I've reached 15 hours. Anyway, what do you think of her?
Oh, and I wanted to put the backstitch on her face and draw her eye, but the seller forgot to include the 2 colours for the backstitching! No problem though, they weren't listed with all the other colours and the seller is sending me the missing skeins.

Wow! Isabelle, she's coming along great. I'm just about to sort my first pic too.
I've not managed to complete my 15 hours either, so I wouldn't worry. I'm sure we'll make it up soon enough!!

Isabelle, I'm sure the defence won't ba half as scary as you imagine. But the last days before such an event are really hard. I hope you'll manage to find some time to relax and sleep well.

Your project is so beautiful and the green fabric is just wonderful! Stunning work. :) I know that everyone says not to be stressed about your defence on Monday, but you know it's perfectly normal to feel this way. I would be worried if you weren't! :) Just try to do something to distract yourself, anything that normally calms you down. I have great faith that in French or English you will do a fantastic job and they will love you. ((hugs)) Good luck! - Kim

She is absolutely lovely Isabelle - fantastic work. I am so glad that you are enjoying her :-) She really is lovely to stitch :-)
Almost forgot - sorry! Good luck with the defense! I bet you will do wonderfully - please don't let the stress bog you down - go for a walk, take a soak in the bath, stitch, relax.... :-) (Yep, I put my therapist cap on for a second there)... :-)
First of all: good luck on Monday. I think you'll do great. Afterwards it's hard to remember where you were feeling so stressed about. But it's understandable, so good luck.
The fairy is beautiful. A SAL is a nice way to work, especially when it's international.
