One of the gifts I've been working on...

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a nice week-end.
Here is one of the gift I was working on lately - I gave it away on Sunday.

Yep, you got it. Another mini-quilt! This one is different though: the rose is appliquéd over stipple quilting.
The satin is the same as my sewing case. The lilac brodacloth for the appliqué and the binding is leftover fabric from the very first dress I made.

Very pretty quilt, love the colors and the stipple quilting is a nice touch! I love the appliques you do they are wonderful, I can see you get a lot of mileage out of your fancy sewing machine. :) - Kim

It's lovely again! You're blessed with good ideas and many skills. Great that you met another friend from the internet. Internet can be a blessing!
I heard you had very high temperatures, but tomorrow will be better (and wetter?). So you can speed up...

Isabelle, the gift for your friend is so beautiful. That color of Lilac is my favorite color. If you happen to have another beautiful Lilac mini quilt just laying around.....well I have the perfect spot for it in my little craft room.LOL
