I'm finally feeling better today: the fever has dropped, which makes me more efficient with the packing and all. We'll be moving on Saturday, and finish off on Sunday with the more fragile items (the sewing machines for instance!). Luckily, many strong friends will lend us a hand to carry everything from the 12th to the 11th arrondissement. I feel very touched that so many friends are willing to be so helpful! I'm going to bake batches of cakes and buy boxes of chocolate to thank them all.
I did manage to put the first stitches into San's round robin fabric - this is the perfect stress killer. 
As I started by daylight I wanted to make the most of the sunny day, and started with the lighter colours. I'm just done with the white.

Thanks for the nice comment on my kitty cat - Gig is a cream persian, while Beau (shown in my profile box here) is a cameo - and I cannot tell much difference between them :-) I would say they are the same color, but their faces and personalities, of course, are so different! I hope you fall in love with the kitty you are going to see! Persians are wonderful, just remember to groom it a lot or it will get very, very depressed (the knots will hurt) - I can coach you if you want :-)

I'm sorry you have to deal with your cold and moving at the same time, this can really be nasty, but at least you're getting help.
I hope your new appartment is going to be nice and cozy and your sleeping problems will disappear soon. Living in berlin, I do understand how hard it is to find something nice you're still able to pay, sigh.
